Qalcwise offers two fully customizable project management applications:
- one for creating projects and assigning tasks
- another for reporting results
Project creation application
In this application, we defined 4 stages of the project management process. However, you can edit them, add new ones, or remove existing ones depending on your company’s needs.
The basic stages are:
- Initiation
- Planning
- Implementation
- Closing
Your first step is to define the Project Manager and team members (e.g. departments). Then define the project category and completion date.
Next, add tasks to individual project stages. You can also add new tasks at later stages or edit existing ones.
Once the data is filled in, you can start the project. At this point, individual departments receive tasks to complete. Each employee will see assigned tasks on their dashboard after logging into Qalcwise.
An employee can accept a task, add a description, or change its due date. They can also mark a task as completed or failed.
At any time, the Project Manager can check the progress of individual tasks, shown as a percentage. You can monitor progress in real time and react to delays or issues. From the report view, you can open specific tasks and review or close them (approve task completion).
When all tasks are completed, you can click “Project completed” and close the project.
Project reporting application
The second application provides a convenient overview of results and allows you to generate reports. The report shows all active projects and all tasks. After selecting a project, you can see the status of all task executions.
