The jury of the 9th Best in Cloud competition recognized Qalcwise as the best cloud technology start-up in Poland. The awards were presented during the Best in Cloud conference, which took place on May 20 in an online format.
Cloud technology on the rise
Cloud technology has been gaining an increasing number of supporters year by year. In 2018, the global market value of cloud solutions amounted to 272 billion USD. By 2023, it was expected to grow to over 623 billion USD (ReportLinker.com).
The cloud offers a number of advantages: it provides flexibility and broad access to data from anywhere in the world. Cloud solutions became especially valued during the COVID-19 pandemic, when remote work became widespread. Cloud technology is becoming an essential part of IT infrastructure also in Polish companies.
About the competition
The Best in Cloud competition, organized by Computerworld, aimed to select the most interesting and innovative cloud solutions.
Awards were given in 8 product categories, but companies that effectively and innovatively use cloud solutions were also recognized.

Qalcwise took first place in the category: Best cloud technology start-up.
