We don't know if there will be any more snow this winter, but Qalcwise has seen a hail of new arrivals! See what corrections, new functionalities and changes we have introduced in the latest version of the platform!
Changes for Users
1. Changing streams to workspaces
The new version has improved workspaces by adding the option to specify readers and editors for each stream individually, thus removing private streams as they are no longer needed to hide streams.
From now on, we can also define in advance whether applications can be deleted from the archive in a given area. To do this, click on the arrow next to the area name and then check the checkbox.
2. A new version of the application history section
In response to customer requests, the historical section was reworked and given a much friendlier look, without losing its functionality.
3. Substitutions can be dedicated to or exclusive of a specific work area
Then, when creating a replacement, the user can specify which areas his replacement should not see and in which he will be able to replace him.
4. Attachment type
From now on, the user can see thumbnails of attachments in individual lines, and after clicking on the thumbnail, a section with the attachment in the line appears, from where he can, for example, preview the images using a magnifying glass.
5. New functionalities in the Home Page
- For dates, you can use the formula today:
- If someone needs to use the Dashboard on a daily basis, after the first click on "Dashboard" it will be expanded and our selection will be remembered in the browser the next time we visit the Qalcwise platform.
Changes for Designers
6. It is not possible to remove an empty row when row modification is enabled
A bug has been fixed and now the user will not be able to accidentally remove the ability to add data to the table.
7. Link and Doclink can be saved in text cell
Previously, this type of writing caused an error when saving these formulas in cells other than the Link type, now it has been fixed, so you can freely use the link and doclink formulas in a text cell.
8. Action step White list
From now on, in Qalcwise you can easily check whether a given contractor's account number is on the list of active VAT payers.

9. Attachment type
From now on, we can use the attachment type in tables and spreadsheets to add attachments directly to a table row or spreadsheet cell:
10. Changing the data recording mode in the table
From now on, data in tables whose refreshment is set to "Always" is not saved in the instance in order to reduce the size of individual requests.

From now on, when creating an application, Designer can define in what mode substitutions can be used:

13. Business logs have a new interface
Searching for logs used to be very difficult, today we have a tabular view, so we can freely sort and filter logs by any column.
